After I picked you up from school this morning, we decided to go for a walk on Tivoli Island. You insisted on running through the trail. You did so good listening and staying by me. I ran until I physically couldn’t anymore and then kept walking to keep up with you. We picked up pieces of old wood and sticks and rocks to throw in the water by the dam. I found an old wipes container and took the lid off so that you would have a container to pour water with. I sat back and watched you dig in the mud and explore and play and just be a 4 yr old kid. You don’t realize how much things are a hurricane around you in your life right now. It was nice to just spend some time with you and talk to you and let you explore and do anything that you wanted. I got a beautiful picture of you. I’m so happy to be your grandma and get to spend time with you. You’re quickly becoming my little buddy. I love you so much.
