I’m laying on the air mattress in the living room and you’re camped beside me. This is the 3rd night that you’ve insisted on sleeping next to me. You were holding my finger, trying to squeeze it.
We’ve had such a great few days. Today, you woke up early and found out that we had our first snow. You had dragon waffles for breakfast and I took you to school. We cleaned your playroom tonight while daddy painted the living room.
I’m already counting the days until I come play with you again. We have our little games and jokes between us. You like squishing my face and telling me to do “my name is chubby.” I always ask to eat your piggies, but you say no. We read books and watch videos. My knees are sore from being horsey. My back hurts from giving so many piggy back rides. But my heart is so happy! I’ve been missing you for so long and I’ve missed so many days. I’m just so happy to be part of your life.
